SUNDAY SUMMARY

Joshua 5:9a, 10-12  Israel’s sojourn in the desert ends with the celebration of Passover, as it began.

Psalm 34:2-3, 4-5, 6-7  God hears the poor one who cries out and saves the lowly from distress.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21  The world is reconciled to God through Christ, and a new creation is now possible.

Luke 15:1-3, 11-32  Jesus tells the story of two sons who make very different assumptions about the world and their father.
